Your Skin Care Routine Might Be Missing This—Catriona Gray, Donny Pangilinan, and Bianca Gonzalez Find Out Why
A new campaign brings together celebrities, experts, and advocates to raise awareness about sensitive skin care in the Philippines.
When Catriona Gray, Donny Pangilinan, Bianca Gonzalez, and other notable personalities came together at a skin care event, the focus wasn’t just on beauty—it was on education. Held at The Courtyards at Vermosa, the launch of Cetaphil SkinLabs served as both a campaign debut and a call for more science-backed conversations around sensitive skin.
Hosted by Bianca Gonzalez and attended by longtime ambassadors Gray, Nico Bolzico, Andi Manzano, and Atasha Muhlach, their exchange highlighted a growing community of voices advocating for gentle, evidence-based skin care rooted in expert guidance. The event also welcomed new members of the Cetaphil family: Donny, Ella, and Hannah Panglinan and Bea Fabregas.
So what’s missing from most routines? According to experts and advocates at the event, it’s not another trending product—it’s proper education, credible information, and a true understanding of how the skin works. The one-day event tackled a growing concern: the overwhelming amount of misinformation we’ve been seeing online, especially on social media. With trends driven by catchy hooks and viral ingredients, it can be easy to mistake hype for fact.

Cetaphil SkinLabs also introduced a major rebrand for the skin care brand, signaling a shift toward advocacy and accessible education. Louie Roxas, general manager of Galderma Philippines, shared, “Cetaphil’s commitment is to deliver science-driven, dermatologist-recommended solutions that cater to diverse skin needs, ensuring that everyone—regardless of skin type of concern—has access to effective, clinically-proven skin care.”
Through Cetaphil SkinLabs, the skin care brand also launched its campaign Cetaphil for Everyone’s Sensitive Skin. The campaign reminds us that good skin care isn’t just about products—it’s all about knowing your skin.

Attendees moved through curated rooms dedicated to different skin needs and stages in life, with talks with dermatologists and product demonstrations anchoring the message. The experience in itself was grounded in facts: 70 percent of people have sensitive skin and the Philippines ranks sixth in prevalence. Khen Kon, head of medical at Galderma Asia Pacific, also spoke on the rise of skin sensitivity and the need for gentle, targeted solutions.
“At Cetaphil, we are for everyone’s sensitive skin,” says Mark Sarmiento, Cetaphil business unit head. “For over 75 years, we have been relentlessly pushing boundaries and advancing skin science, because we believe everyone should feel free to be their most authentic self.”
