This year, Filipina talent is on the map—with BINI making a historic debut and Sophia Laforteza of KATSEYE also taking the stage at Coachella, one of the world’s biggest music festivals. Beyond the music, Coachella has long been a playground for style—where fashion and beauty take on their most playful, and expressive forms.

This year is no exception, with a surge of exciting energy as seen on BINI’s golden Katipunera-inspired looks to KATSEYE’s experimental, stage-ready hairstyles, and the standout beauty moments seen across festival grounds. These are the looks we’re saving to our mood boards for our next music festival, or simply for days when we feel like having a little more fun.

BINI

The nation’s girl group, BINI, made a lasting first impression. Morena beauty took center stage, glowing under the desert sun with a palette that celebrated warmth and radiance. BINI makeup artists—Theresa Padin, MK Qua, Julius Cabanisas, Anthea Bueno, and Abby Reyes—painted the eyes with rich brown and champagne tones, softly sculpted with a touch of gold shimmer at the inner corners. A delicate wing and fluttery lashes framed the gaze, while gold bead accents added a striking finish, perfectly complementing their gold Job Dacon ensemble and their surprise siren-inspired number.

Warm peachy blush pulled the look together, while soft nude lips tied everything seamlessly. Framing these morena faces were long, natural-looking waves, thanks to hairstylists Cristine Benoman, Aries Manal, July Vito, and Jay Aquino, with each member carrying her own distinct hair identity—from Stacey’s bubblegum pink hair, Sheena’s lustrous copper, Gwen’s platinum blonde, Maloi’s full bangs, Aiah’s mermaid waves, Jhoanna’s pin-straight hair, Colet’s ash blonde with dark tips, to Mikha’s signature red—each BINI member owned her look.

Sabrina Carpenter

American pop star Sabrina Carpenter continues to bring her signature blend of playful charm and Hollywood glamour to Coachella this year. Her makeup artist, Carolina Gonzalez, used full Armani Beauty to create her look, focusing on a fresh, luminous base, Sabrina’s signature pink blush, and doll-like lashes that enhance her soft, doe eyes. The look is completed with bold red lips outlined with a deeper red liner, adding dimension and a subtle edge to her otherwise sweet, and nostalgic aesthetic—perfectly balancing romance, and pop.

KATSEYE

Feminine and fierce is what KATSEYE brought to their debut performance. Each of the girls wore defined warm brown eye looks, paired with mauve metallic lips and bold lip liner, but the surprise they brought to the festival was their new, fun hairstyles.

Celebrity hairstylist George Papanikolas of Matrix experimented with the girls’ hair, creating looks that now define this new era. Yoonchae went fully blonde, while Megan’s look had horizontal shine lines. Raj leaned into dirty blonde highlights, Daniela wore two perfectly placed platinum money pieces, and Filipina member Sophia Laforteza embraced a blonde dip-dye look.

For the day, key hairstylist Evanie Frausto made sure the girls’ hair was performance-ready.

Bretman Rock

Allure Philippines’ maiden issue cover star, Bretman Rock, joined the festival fun. He kicked off his Coachella week with a warm, bronzy makeup look that showed off his beautiful tan skin, paired with brushed-up brows and wispy lashes. The star of the look, however, was his hair—done by hairstylist Jose Angel Gonzalez—who braided red ribbons into his hair to match his fiery red leather jacket. We don’t expect anything less from the baddest.

Jooshica

South Korean content creator Jooshica showed off her pink, playful energy at Coachella. She sported a pink eye shadow look that blended seamlessly into her blush, placed high on the cheeks, while the high points of her face were adorned with rhinestones that echoed the sparkle of her fun top. Pearlescent highlighter also dusted the tip of her nose, cheeks and inner eye corners, and her lips were full and rosy, completing the fun, radiant look.

Mexican-American content creator Daus Mendoza was also spotted at Coachella, jumpstarting his festival week with a bold magenta-pink look. Featuring thin brows and bright pink blush swept across the cheeks, the look was elevated with rhinestones placed at the temples and cascading down the face for extra sparkle. Bright rosy under-eyes added to the dreamy, whimsical effect, while a classic cherry lip outlined with a bold liner tied the whole look together.

Coachella has always been a space where music, fashion, and beauty collide. But this year, one thing was certain—freedom and fun defined the entire experience of discovering new beauty looks. To be fearless, free, and beautiful is to embrace Coachella as a zone where self-expression knows no limits, and where beauty is not just seen, but a beat that lives on.
