Beauty is typically described as a means to express ourselves creatively. But even in our best attempts to blend everything seamlessly, those pesky little red spots always seem to peek through. Recently, styling our acne instead of simply covering it up has become a growing trend among the online Gen Z community, with local acne care brand Posh Skin turning the usually invisible hydrocolloid patch into an everyday accessory.

Since its launch in 2024, the creatives at Posh Skin have created a variety of pimple patch designs that add a pop of character to every look without sacrificing the necessary ingredients that help protect and heal acne marks throughout the day. And at this year’s Allure Beauty Lab, the brand thought to showcase its lineup of acne care products in messages of self-expression, turning its dedicated booth into a space where confidence and skin health can coexist.

Situated along the Beauty Express hall of the event, visitors at the Posh Skin booth were invited to explore and accessorize their looks alongside its many pimple patch collections. From adorable renditions of flora and fauna to limited edition designs made alongside Hannah Pangilinan’s Just One Run Club, the brand also featured numerous shapes and patterns that came in metallic and iridescent finishes.

After putting on their chosen patches, attendees were encouraged to write messages about what makes them feel confident on the booth’s dedication wall, which later gave them a chance to take home a pack of their prized patches. At the booth, Posh Skin’s newly released skin care line was on full display, with resident experts guiding users through its cleanser, toner, moisturizer, serum, and Korean pink clay routine.

The brand describes how each product was made with a gentle yet nourishing formulation for those with consistent acne concerns, featuring a blend of niacinamide, salicylic acid, and allancica, which features a blend of allantoin and centella asiatica that the brand describes as a soothing yet strengthening formulation that also reduces redness.

As visitors exit the Posh Skin booth with new colorful accents to their look, the dedication wall only seemed to fill up with more messages of self-confidence for newcomers to discover. For the brand, they express how such interactions continue to change the stigma surrounding acne care, turning creative expression into a testament to self-care and individuality.
