Everyone has their own idea of what “hobbymaxxing” means. Some simply collect sports to expand their social circles; others discover their potential along the way, whether through racket sports and long-distance running, or high-intensity fitness races and martial arts.

But while we’re busy building ourselves up, how much attention are we paying to what’s happening at our roots? Sunsilk brought hair care into the conversation with an outdoor obstacle course that put a beauty spin on physical activity.

From October 9 to 10 at Bridgetowne Obstacle Park, Sunsilk invited beauty creators, sports enthusiasts, and hobbymaxxers alike to put their confidence and endurance to the test at its Slayground. Centered on the recently launched Sunsilk Anti-Hairfall Plus System, the brand curated an obstacle course inspired by its three-step hair care routine.

Starting with a sloped wall climb, attendees gripped strand-like ropes to pull themselves to the top, a challenge designed to represent the fortifying benefits Sunsilk attributes to its Anti-Hairfall Plus shampoo, formulated with PEG-45M, a water-soluble polymer.

Next came a sandbag-pulling challenge. This activity drew inspiration from the collection’s Anti-Hairfall Plus Treatment, formulated with an activated coconut oil blend that the brand says helps leave hair feeling smoother and healthier.

The final test? Sunsilk introduced the Stay Grounded Challenge, which, like the final step in the routine, was inspired by the Anti-Hairfall Plus . Here, guests held on to suspended rings for 30 seconds before heading to the refresh zone to discover the collection. Those who won the brand’s online meet-and-greet contest also had the opportunity to meet Sunsilk ambassadors Belle Mariano, Ashtine Olviga, and Kai Montinola.

Beyond the physical challenges, the purple-hued playground also invited guests to explore Sunsilk’s three-step Anti-Hairfall Plus System, bringing hair and into the spotlight. Because while endurance was put to the test on the obstacle course, caring for your hair starts with what you do every day.
