For the last eight years, Vice Cosmetics has stood on a principle of letting beauty be just as attainable as it is reliable, evolving itself to reflect a mantra that reframes the brand as a companion that’s here to stay.

“At Vice Cosmetics, that’s what our mantra, “Makeup for Life,” means: high performance products made for real life. Whether you’re working, playing, dreaming, or just being you, we’re here to make beauty simple, joyful, and empowering.” says co-CEO, Ana Samaco.

To kickstart the brand’s renewed outlook, Vice Cosmetics looked to beauty creator Lierge Perey for the new Perfect Kizz VELVET line. The release resonates with her explorative approach to creating looks, as well as a presence that the brand believes represents an understated, yet profound sense of confidence.

“We chose Lierge to curate and be the face of this collection because her quiet conviction and effortless authenticity are the essence of Soft Power,” shares co-CEO Cathyrn Lao. “She doesn’t need to be loud to be heard—her presence, values, and creative vision speak volumes. That’s exactly the kind of impact we wanted this collection to represent.”

Spanning a collective 20 shades between its Velvet Blur Lip Shaper and Velvet Soft Lip Bullet, the former highlights a dual-ended design where the lip liner’s end is made opposite to dense blending brush, allowing users to seamlessly combine both variations for a flush yet lightweight look.

From the Forbidden Kiss’ brick red hue for evenings out in the city to the Midnight Kiss’ cocoa brown that matches a sunkissed afternoon at the beach, Perey also recalled her experience with using both products, sharing how the Velvet Blur Lip Shaper’s “budge-proof” formulation keeps each application last, all while the Velvet Soft Lip Bullet created a full yet diffused flourish to the overall look.

“Power doesn’t always have to be loud,” adds Samaco. “This collection symbolizes our shift away from everything needing to go viral. We’re here to last.” With the full collection released last August 11th, Vice Cosmetics now looks to continue in refining its line up of beauty cosmetics, while keeping committed to creating companions that last lifetimes.
