It’s a cover of many firsts.

In a never-before-done moment in Allure history—Allure Philippines, Allure US, and Allure Korea come together in a three-way collaboration, putting global girl group Katseye—Sophia Laforteza, Daniela Avanzini, Lara Raj, Megan Skiendiel, and Yoonchae Jeung, on three distinct covers across each edition. But the collaboration isn’t the only first. The girls also step into beauty looks that push them beyond their comfort zones, with each member fully committing to the transformation.

Below, Allure Philippines breaks down the beauty looks that define its latest Global Beauty issue—where nothing plays it safe, and everything goes bold, playful, and new.

Bye, bye, brows

Makeup artist Alexandra French designed a no-eyebrow look, executed alongside makeup artists Jordan Giang and Kayli Rachelle for the global group cover of Allure Philippines. The girls were packed into one frame with their best power stance, and the biggest surprise? Their brows are erased, and not with a quick concealer trick, but through good old bleaching.

While the brows go blonde for the ladies, it’s the eyes that do all the talking, with an intense smokey eye, frosty shimmer, iridescent inner corners, and fluttering lashes that heighten the drama. The base is dewy with warm contour, and the look is finished off with beige-nude, ultra-glossy lips with a darker lip liner.

Completing the fanstasy is hair styled by Evanie Frausto—big, voluminous, va-va-voom waves that fan out with maximal impact, where bigger is unmistakably better.

Spot-on kissers

As Kay Thompson exclaims in the classic movie Funny Face, “Banish the black, bury the beige, and now think pink!” For the individual collectible print covers of the Philippine edition, the girls embraced a vintage aesthetic with polka dots as the main motif of the beauty look.

French shared on Instagram that prior to the shoot, she tested different lip colors, finishes, and combinations. In the end, she landed on a crafty, clever solution of using tiny party confetti pieces that had been in her makeup kit for a while, layering them over each girl’s lip color to create the dotted pattern effect.

Giang and Rachelle also applied polka-dot false lashes that echoed the lip art. Sophia and Megan wore carnation pink lips with white dots, Yoonchae had bright pink lips contrasted by black dots, Lara had shocking pink lips with white dots, while Daniela had black-and-white polka-dot lips. Perfect for a spot-on cover.

Magnetic mani moment

What’s a killer cover story look without nails? Nail artist Juan Alvear went full-on maximalist, sharing in an Instagram post that he wanted to create a “soft velvet effect” on the nails that matched the polka-dot theme. While all the members had long almond-shaped nails with a magnetic cat-eye base, each girl had unique nail accessories embedded.

Sophia wore pink cat-eye nails with rhinestone bows and pearls. Meghan had a black-and-aqua polka-dot French tip with 3D rose embellishments. Lara wore a milky white base with black dots, paired with butterfly accents and geometric rhinestones. Yoonchae’s nails echoed her makeup, featuring ballet-slipper pink nails with black-and-pink polka dots and rhinestone details. And Daniela had obsidian cat-eye nails accented with chrome gems and embellishments.

The girls prove that a fabulous manicure is the finishing touch you can’t miss.

The new face of global beauty

With the girls fronting all three covers in bleached brows, shocking pink lip art, and mega-embellished nails, they cement their status as bona fide pop stars who know how to serve unforgettable beauty looks that fans will rave about.

But more than the style shake-up, they make a profound statement that beauty has no single look, no one color, and no one face, because everything is possible in the world of beauty—where rules are meant to be bent, broken, and reimagined.
