For her Fashion Week Asia 2026 show at Palacio de Memoria, designer Rosanna Ocampo took the runway on a summer getaway.
Her designs draw on music, sunlit days, and wanderlust, with touches of femininity and flirtatiousness. In her spring/summer 2027 collection, Alba: After Dark, Before Dawn, Ocampo evokes images of summer through flowy fabrics, raffia textures against linen, while mixing structure and sensuality in A-line dresses and sequins.
This inspiration showed up in the beauty looks, where bronzed skin and champagne shimmer recall the last of the sun at sunset. With shiny, deep taupe lips, bronzed skin, and slicked-back roots, the looks, created by lead makeup artist Gery Penaso under MAC Cosmetics and hairstylists from Cream Silk, offer a taste of the summers Ocampo has loved and is now retelling.
“My letter to the archipelago is mainly about the islands. This is where the beachy waves come into play, the sun-kissed bronze, the play on the lips, and the tan. If you look at it all, it’ll all make sense,” Ocampo tells Allure Philippines.
