“If there is something that I realized over that silent while, it is the wisdom in restraint, inner confidence of one’s own work and vision, and truth in the message you want to impart to your audience,” says designer Jerome Lorico. That idea of subtlety was reflected in beauty looks that relied on natural enhancement instead of outlandish transformation.
The makeup base is sheer, allowing the skin’s natural features to remain visible while warm contour subtly sculpts the face. There isn’t much eyeshadow, only hints of mauve and brown swept across the lids and under the eyes, creating a soft grunge effect. Sticking to this understated palette, the lip color sits perfectly between peach and nude, mimicking the lips’ natural color.
