Ube is now beauty’s new favorite color, making a case as the next shade to try for your evening glam look.
To give violet an evening-glam twist, makeup artist Booya Mocorro layered the eyelids in gradient tones of lavender, emphasizing the hues in the inner corners. Purple iridescent eyeshadow adds dimension to the lids and cheeks, while the scene-stealer is the deep berry-plum lip. “I had to crush up dark purple, magenta eyeshadows for that one to achieve this look,” says Mocorro, who layered the pigments for a rich, multidimensional finish.
