For OG lifestyle content creator Laureen Uy-Cruz, that means it’s a mix of both tech and beauty essentials—two kinds of cameras and a power bank, tucked with a makeup kit that has everything she needs every day. 

It’s a bag built for any kind of situation—an impromptu OOTD, an errand turned into a sudden shopping trip—and always ready to catch a moment worth remembering. In an exclusive interview with Allure Philippines, Uy-Cruz unpacked her everyday bag, showing us a glimpse of the gear and glam she carries in her daily life.

Everything outside her bag

Before diving into the inside, Uy-Cruz showed us the accessories she carries on the outside, which tell us exactly who she is: her Kodak Charmera in blue, a pair of glasses from Gentle Monster’s The Pocket Collection, and keychains from Ganni, Hungry Homies (her smashburger joint!), and Fendi. 

Everything inside her bag

Inside, her bag contains a mix of her content creation and beauty essentials. Her tech and content gear include a Ricoh GRIII for photographs, a DJI Osmo Pocket 3 for vlogging, a BOYA Mini 2 wireless microphone that clips on easily, a Promate PowerUp-Trio, and a Moft Snap Phone Tripod Stand. 

Her beauty kit is in an orange Hermès towelette pouch, of which she says, “Everything’s all here.” Inside the pouch, Uy-Cruz has the Jo Malone Peony & Blush Suede Hand Cream and a Dior Addict Refillable Hydrating Shine Lipstick in the shade Nude Mitzah housed in the Addict Shine Limited-Edition Case. 

Her pouch also includes a collection of lip balms: a Dior Addict Lip Glow Lip Balm in the shade 006 Berry, a Lip Balm Prada Frosting Care in Banana Yellow, and a Laneige Lip Glowy Balm in Berry. For blush, she has Sunnies Face Airblush in Fig and Chanel Les Beiges Blush Stick in Refresh.

How Laureen Uy-Cruz determines if something is content-worthy 

People often think content creators like Uy-Cruz take out their cameras at any given moment. However, she actually does the opposite. 

“I feel like on a regular basis, I wouldn’t flip out my camera,” she said. “But just in case there’s something exciting or something out of the ordinary that I feel like I want to keep as a memory, then I flip it out and take photos or videos.” 

And that’s part of who Uy-Cruz is—not just as a content creator, but as the person behind the camera. She curates what she shares deliberately, treating her camera less like a constant companion and more like a tool she reaches out for when a moment actually earns it.

Why these items are part of her everyday bag

Laureen Uy-Cruz’s everyday bag is actually quite practical in nature—it holds all of her content creation and beauty essentials while still showcasing her personality. For one thing, she always makes sure that her phone has some juice in it and that she has it on hand every day. 

For her beauty essentials, one non-negotiable she has is perfume, because, in her words, “You don’t know where you’re gonna end up. Sometimes you’re gonna say you’re just gonna go malling, and then next thing you know, you have to go somewhere else.”
