Music and beauty have long been intertwined. In “Lip Gloss,” Lil Mama runs through her favorite flavors and makeup brands. Ariana Grande croons about letting “My Hair” down. Camila Cabello breathily sings about spritzing “Chanel No. 5.”

Locally, artists have built looks as recognizable as their sound. Regine Velasquez-Alcasid favors red-lipped, glamorous beauty; Bini leans into fun, Y2K-inspired makeup; and boy bands like SB19 and Alamat go beyond basic men’s grooming to explore more experimental looks.

At the second-ever Filipino Music Awards (FMA) happening this October 6, 2026, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, expect more beauty inspo from local talent. Here are just a few of the many artists confirmed to attend this year’s FMA—and before we see what they bring to the event, Allure Philippines looks back at some of their standout beauty moments from the past.

Regine Velasquez-Alcasid

During an appearance on ASAP, Velasquez looked every bit the Songbird in a diaphanous blue dress. Her hair was teased away from her face, keeping the focus on a smattering of faux freckles across her cheeks and her signature matte red lip.

Apl de Ap

In a promotional image for Nadine Lustre’s “Donuts,” on which he is featured, the Black Eyed Peas rapper wore a gold-studded hat and oversized, tinted frames. With the accessories doing much of the talking, he kept the rest of his look simple with a trimmed circle beard and a soul patch.

Bini’s Maloi Ricalde

Bini’s main vocalist channeled Junji Ito’s Tomie for the group’s “Step Down” performance, down to the character’s piercing stare, long hair, thick bangs, and an almost identically placed beauty mark. She wore a brown smoky eye with a bit of shimmer, warm blush on the high points of her cheeks, and a dark berry-toned lip gloss.

Bini’s Jhoanna Robles

In an Instagram post, Robles traded in her usual larger-than-life stage makeup looks for something a little sweeter, but just as striking. Her blowout framed the look beautifully—feathery brows, long lashes, a sheer pink-and-red gradient lip, and highlighter that accentuated her bone structure.

Skusta Clee

In an image outtake from “Ligaw na Bullet,” his collaboration with Denise Laurel, the singer leaned into his usual gritty aesthetic with a gold decorative band-aid on one cheek and a faux wound on his lip. His look had a sweet touch, though: a sticker on the other cheek that read, “Ikaw ang katahimikan na [‘di] nakakasawang pakinggan.”

SB19

At NBA House Philippines 2026, P-Pop stars SB19 went for an edgy street-style look: multiple ear piercings, a vertical labret, center parts straight out of the ‘90s, tousled spiky hair, bleached strands peeking out from under a cap—and a hint of dark eyeshadow to tie it all together.

Ashtine Olviga

For her birthday photo shoot, the actor traded her mutya-next-door image for something sharper: waist-length hair in a deep red hue, full bangs, and matching eyeshadow, paired with lots of leather, buckles, and studs. Hints of her sweetness still peeked through, from the pronounced aegyosal to a berry-and-pink ombré lip.

Alamat

The P-pop group isn’t afraid to play with beauty choices. Alamat performed “Sinigang” on It’s Showtime with pink hair styled in spikes like a cotton-candy take on Jack Frost, black nails, dark brows accentuated by stark white liner, a graphic touch of the same color at the inner corners, and heavy eyeshadow smoked out to make the eyes stand out.

Baby Dolls

Rising girl group Baby Dolls will make you go “Ooh lala” with their dolled-up 2000s beauty aesthetic. For this promotional photoshoot, they wore big silver hoops; bouncy waves; sleek, straight hair; light-hued contacts; warm, diffused eyeshadow; and plump, high-shine lips.

Clara Benin

Singer-songwriter Clara Benin wore her hair in a sweet half-up, half-down style tied with a ribbon for her Born on a Rainy Night concert. The ends curled outward, with two strands framing her face. She paired the look with a pink dress and a matching lip. It almost reads vintage—until you see the tattoos on her arms.
