For Cream Silk, The Science Behind Healthy Hair Spoke Volumes at the Allure Beauty Lab

For two days, Cream Silk guests discovered how hydration, repair, and volume come together for healthier-looking hair.
At the Allure Beauty Lab, beauty wasn’t something to see; it was something to experience. For hair conditioner brand Cream Silk, that meant bringing salon-inspired hair care directly to guests through interactive product experiences, expert insights, and a closer look at the science behind healthy, voluminous hair.
Located at the Activity Center of the Allure Beauty Lab, the Cream Silk booth introduced guests, including Andrea Torres and content creators Anjela Aiza, Bea Esmeria, Sherlene Jorda, Casey Joy Lopez, and Amber Senires, to the Hydration & Volume Salon Renewal Mask, inviting them to discover how hydration and volume can work hand in hand. Alongside the Salon Renewal Mask, attendees also explored the Cream Silk Repair Booster Treatments—Rebond Straight and Damage Repair—designed to complement different hair care needs and repair intense hair damage.

The activation echoed a conversation the hair care brand has been championing: that achieving salon-quality hair isn’t just about styling; it’s about understanding the unique needs of Filipino hair.
Speaking during the recent Cream Silk Pro-Collective Shape Series Masterclass, Unilever Philippines Beauty & Wellness R&D Country Lead Daniella De Leon-Gaguan says that hair care starts with hydration, making sure that it can withstand a lot of styles. “The first Shape Series was all about straight, sleek hair because we know a lot of Filipinas want that look, and the same idea applies to volumized and hydrated hair. Its foundations are rooted in hair health, but it’s about achieving that look through different technologies, textures, products, and performance.”
The same message also carried through a previous Allure Conversation at the Allure Beauty Congress, where beauty content creator Belle Rodolfo, drag performer Arizona Brandy, and Unilever Product Development R&D expert Anna Tongco discussed how Filipino hair faces distinct challenges brought on by tropical humidity, frequent washing, and regular heat styling.

“We are seeing now that there are more innovations, more breakthrough technologies that if you can fix it on the inside of the hair, it actually influences how it looks, even on the outside,” Tongco says. The panel also discussed how everyday habits can leave hair prone to dryness and damage, making hydration and internal repair just as important as volume.
Developed with Cream Silk’s Hya-Silk Volume Complex—a blend of hyaluronic acid, hydrolyzed silk, glycerin, and repair ingredients—the Hydration & Volume Salon Renewal Mask is designed to replenish moisture, strengthen hair fibers, and support styling recovery without weighing hair down. The hair care brand says that it is also created using the CoolQuench 60M Process, which gives the mask its lightweight, jelly-like texture while helping deliver hydration throughout the hair treatment experience.
Beyond introducing the products, the booth encouraged guests to experience them firsthand. On the second day of the Allure Beauty Lab, attendees who made a minimum purchase, snapped a photo at the booth, and shared it on social media had the chance to take home exclusive Cream Silk prizes. The brand also highlighted its ongoing Cream Silk Conditioned to Win Promo, where consumers who spend a minimum of PHP 250 on participating Cream Silk products are eligible for a chance to win a brand-new Tesla by easily uploading their receipt through GCash Scan2Win.
