Everyone loves a signature scent, and once you find it, it can be hard to part with—there’s something especially satisfying about finding a fragrance that feels like you. Gen Z, especially, has turned scent into some kind of social currency: the perfume you wear can say as much as your outfit does.

Buying a new bottle of perfume might be the first instinct once you run out, but refills offer a more considered way to return to a favorite. As more people become more mindful of the purchases they make, a refillable fragrance can help extend the life of a bottle that’s already on your vanity—and can even save you a few pesos.

Luckily, more brands across Metro Manila now offer refill options for some of their most popular scents—and your signature fragrance may be one of them. Here, Allure Philippines rounds up the brands making it easier to refill, rewear, and repeat your favorite fragrances.

LUMI Candles

Homegrown brand LUMI Candles has built its business around mindful lifestyle products, offering refills across almost all of its product lines—perfumes included. Each of their perfume bottles is designed to be topped up, not thrown out, proving that refill systems aren’t only limited to established luxury brands and that local brands can do it too.

L’Oréal Group: YSL Beauty, Lancôme, and Prada Beauty

L’Oreal Philippines has made its own refill push with the introduction of the #JoinTheRefillMovement campaign in June 2026. Launched globally, spanning four divisions, 18 brands, and 28 products, it is the group’s third and most expansive edition yet.

In the Philippines, this initiative covers Lancôme, Kiehl’s, YSL Beauty, and Kerastase, with YSL Beauty’s Libre and MYSLF and Lancôme’s Idôle now available in refillable Eau de Parfum formats—with the former saving up to 58% of glass and the latter cutting glass use by 63% and plastic by 15%.

Separately, Prada Beauty’s Paradoxe and Luna Rossa also follow the same format, offering premium bottles with refillable scents to last a long time on everyone’s vanities.

Le Labo

Refill culture was never an afterthought for Le Labo—with its manifesto and made-to-order bottles carrying this belief with intention. Its Greenbelt 5 and SM Mall of Asia boutiques carry the label’s Classic Collection and City Exclusive Collection, and refills in 50ml, 100ml, and even 500ml formats are available through Le Labo’s global lab network year-round.

Shoppers are also encouraged to contact their preferred store if their fragrance of choice and its size are available for refills.

Maison Margiela

Maison Margiela’s REPLICA collection has always been about evoking a specific memory—Beach Walk, Lazy Sunday Morning, Jazz Club, By The Fireplace—and enthusiasts can hold on to it longer with refill bottles.

Available at their Greenbelt and SM Mall of Asia boutiques, these refillable options mean that you’re not just rebuying a scent, but you’re returning to the same one you’ve loved since the first time.

Louis Vuitton

Louis Vuitton’s perfume and cologne lines were designed to be personalized and refilled with every purchase—turning every bottle into an intimate extension of its user.

Shoppers can just bring their empty Louis Vuitton perfume bottles to their store of choice and get their chosen scent replenished.

Burberry

The Burberry Goddess EDP isn’t just the brand’s newest signature scent—it’s also its first refillable fragrance. The square bottle, pulled from Burberry’s own 1991 archive, comes fitted in gabardine beige and gold, with a medallion paying homage to the house’s history.

Once it runs low, the refill—sold separately—clicks to the bottle’s neck and stops at the moment it’s full, so the bottle never has to leave your vanity.

Maison Francis Kurkdijan

Maison Francis Kurkdijan has committed itself to the circular use of materials across all of its formats—promising to offer refill solutions to all of its perfumes by 2027

In place of refill solutions for now, Maison Francis Kurkdijan centers its approach through a travel-sized version of its Baccarat Rouge 540 Extrait, and small refill bottles for its Amyris homme EDT and À la rose EDP. It’s still a work in progress on their part, but it means purchasing the Maison’s cult-favorite scents without having to buy a new bottle.

Scents in rotation—renewed and refilled

Your next signature scent doesn’t have to mean buying a new bottle every time you run out. Though, at the end of the day, refilling a bottle won’t undo decades of packaging waste on its own. It will just make keeping a fragrance you love an easier choice—not an inconvenient one.

And maybe that’s the real shift here: not relying on one grand gesture but sticking to one small, repeatable habit—one refill at a time, making your personal ritual last a little longer.

  • Some brands cite verified figures—L’Oréal Group says its refillable YSL Libre and Lancôme Idôle formats cut glass use by up to 63% and plastic by 15%. Still, the roundup itself notes that refilling one bottle won’t undo decades of packaging waste on its own.

  • Yes—LUMI Candles is a homegrown Philippine brand built around mindful, refillable products, including its perfume line. Its bottles are designed to be topped up rather than thrown away, proving refill systems aren’t limited to established international luxury houses alone.

  • The roundup frames refills as a way to save a little compared with buying an entirely new bottle, though the exact savings depend on brand, fragrance, and refill size—Le Labo alone offers refill formats ranging from 50ml up to 500ml.
