5 Details You Probably Missed Inside Allure Beauty Lab’s The Senses Tour
The creative touches that gave each room inside the Allure Beauty Lab its own character.
Last year’s inaugural Allure Beauty Congress set a high bar, but with the first-ever Allure Beauty Lab last weekend, Allure Philippines returned with an ambition big enough to transform the definition of beauty.
More than just a playground for the camera-ready crowd, where industry heavyweights like Jigs Mayuga, Jelly Eugenio, and Paul Nebres, alongside names like reigning Miss Universe Philippines Bea Millan-Windorski rubbed shoulders with a beauty-forward guest list—Allure Philippines transformed SMX Aura into an immersive, life-size experience, designed to champion responsible creation in the digital beauty landscape.
Woven throughout the experiential playground was The Senses Tour, a multi-room installation designed to transform static beauty concepts into a tangible, holistic experience. Envisioned by AGC Power Holdings Corp CEO Archie Carrasco, The Senses Tour asked guests to slow down, put down their phones, and engage with beauty through sight, scent, sound, touch, and taste.
For those who couldn’t come to the most talked-about destination of the weekend, here are five things you (probably) missed inside the sensory escape.
The Tap-Activated Glow Orbs Inside Allure Beauty Lab’s Opening Room

Tucked away in the journey of the opening room, the glowing spheres weren’t just static decorations to be posted on Instagram. Look closer, and you’d notice that the glow balls instantly shift in color the very moment it’s tapped, creating a colorful interactive moment against the mirrored floor.
Spectrum Hall’s LED Walls Turn Your Own Reflection Into the Display

In Spectrum Hall (created in collaboration with AVOlution Inc.), the visual spectacle went far beyond flashing LED screens and walls of eyeshadow palettes. Guests walking through the interactive photobooths could catch their own reflections displayed directly onto the LED walls, making *your* face an active part of the Spectrum Hall itself.
Tadhana’s Nine-Scent Tribute to Filipino Nostalgia at Allure Beauty Lab

A natural extension to Allure Philippines’ mission of championing homegrown beauty, niche local fragrance label Tadhana anchored the room with an IRL mood board (or in this case, a scent board) of the country. Instead of lining up standard retail bottles, they mapped out the distinct, nostalgia-heavy smells of growing up in the country across nine distinct scents—with notes from uncommon Asian ingredients, from Asin Tibuok (Boholano artisanal salt), tablea, Sampaguita to Almaciga resin and fresh Dalandan.
Soundscape’s Sony 1000X Headphones and Alpha, Beta, Delta Wave Stations

The room bypassed generic ambient noise entirely. Instead, guests put on the newest Sony 1000X headphones, equipped with an adaptive noise-cancelling feature that automatically adjusts to wherever your external conditions are – may it be air pressure or noise.
Its noise-cancelling feature is the perfect fit for Soundscape guests to really immerse themselves in the room. Rather than simply blocking out the crowd, it sets the stage for the room’s audio tracks that feature brainwave frequencies mapped directly to what your mental state needs. In the Soundscape, the most-right station featured calming alpha waves. Across this were the focused, beta rhythms, and the final setup featured deep restorative delta frequencies. For those waiting in line, the room was also anchored by lush audiovisual environments and immersive Amazonian soundscapes for the complete experience.
The DIY Wellness Drink Bar That Closed Out The Senses Tour

The final stop on The Senses Tour put wellness in guest’s own hands. Instead of being handed a ready-made drink, guests got to build their own blend by mixing and matching wellness drinks in flavors like strawberry and lychee. Around the station, market crates were also filled with real, fresh fruit—a small detail that made the space more like a real, working pantry.
