Katseye and Allure Philippines Make Global Beauty History
Allure Philippines’ Global Beauty Issue with Katseye as cover stars marks a defining moment for the beauty and publishing industry—and a powerful reminder of how beauty journalism continues to shape global culture.
At the opening night of the first-ever Allure Beauty Lab, a first-of-its-kind interactive beauty playground, Filipino celebrities, industry leaders, experts, and beauty enthusiasts came together for creator-led, immersive, and sensorial beauty experiences.
The event also marked the unveiling of Allure Philippines’ highly anticipated Volume 4 Print Issue, featuring global girl group Katseye as cover stars.

The landmark event began with remarks from Archie Carrasco, CEO of AGC Power Holdings Corp., and publisher of Allure Philippines.
“We are here not just to celebrate beauty but to educate, discover, and elevate the conversation around [beauty]. The Allure Beauty Lab brings together experts, brands, creators, and our community to learn, experience, and explore the future of beauty,” he shared. “We hope you leave today inspired not just by new products, but by new ideas and meaningful conversations.”
The Global Beauty Issue, a breakthrough in global publishing

Following this, Allure Philippines editor in chief Rissa Mananquil Trillo took the stage to highlight the significance of the Global Beauty Issue and the groundbreaking collaboration behind the cover.
“This cover represents a historic first. For the first time in Allure’s history, Allure US, Allure Korea, and Allure Philippines come together for one global collaboration featuring Katseye,” she said. “Three editions. Three covers. One global story.”
Beyond its editorial significance, the project demonstrated the growing influence of Allure Philippines within Condé Nast’s global network. Mananquil Trillo also emphasized that the collaboration represents a shift in the future of global publishing.

“What makes me especially proud is this: The Philippines wasn’t invited simply to participate. We initiated and helped shape the conversation. For many years, local editions adapted global stories. Today, local editions help create them. This is the future of global publishing—not one voice speaking to the world, but many voices building the story together.”
For its latest edition, Allure Philippines created five collectible print covers, with each Katseye member receiving her own individual cover. “Because while Katseye is extraordinary together, each member brings her own voice and own story to Allure Philippines,” Mananquil Trillo added.
Katseye as the new face of global beauty

On June 25, 2026, Allure Philippines, Allure US, and Allure Korea launched a simultaneous global cover reveal featuring Katseye as cover stars in three distinct covers across three editions.
Alongside the cover story launch, Mananquil Trillo published her editor’s letter revealing why Katseye embodies the representation of beauty today—multicultural, borderless, and impossible to define through a single lens.
“Their members come from different countries, cultures, and lived experiences, yet together they represent a generation increasingly comfortable existing between identities rather than choosing one over another,” she wrote. “They are the perfect cover stars for this Global Beauty Issue—not because they fit a standard, but because they challenge the idea that one standard should exist at all.”
With Allure Philippines launching the Global Beauty Issue group cover across its official social media and digital platforms, featuring all five members in a commanding power stance and no-eyebrow beauty look, the reveal quickly became a defining moment for the edition.
As of writing, the digital group cover post of Allure Philippines generated the highest Instagram engagement among the three participating Allure editions, with the group cover emerging as the strongest-performing across the international collaboration.
The momentum continued with the release of five individual collectible covers—exclusive to Allure Philippines’ Volume 4 print issue. Collectively, these solo covers of Katseye with Allure Philippines surpassed social media performance of the group covers of the other editions. Together, they reflected the extraordinary enthusiasm of Filipino readers and Katseye’s global fan community, while affirming the appetite for editorial storytelling centered on Katseye.
The five individual collectible covers, each showcasing a member in vintage-inspired polka dot beauty looks, celebrated the group’s distinct personalities while expanding the story beyond a single cover image.

Since then, the Global Beauty Issue has become an ongoing narrative that placed Allure Philippines at the center of the global beauty conversation.
Through a series of special digital expansion stories, Allure Philippines expanded the caliber of beauty journalism and storytelling by spotlighting Filipino narratives connected to Katseye’s global journey.
This included an exclusive feature with internationally acclaimed performer and Filipina leader Sophia Laforteza’s mother, Carla Guevara Laforteza, an extensive beauty breakdown tracing Sophia’s defining beauty eras, and a special story of the much-talked-about beauty looks from the Global Beauty Issue covers.
During Mananquil Trillo’s speech on the opening night of the Allure Beauty Lab, the room witnessed a powerful gesture celebrating another valuable touchpoint of the brand—its collectible print editions. Guests held up their Volume 4 print copies, creating what was now “the biggest Allure selfie” yet.
The momentum extended well beyond digital platforms. Over two days, more than 2,000 guests experienced the first-ever Allure Beauty Lab, where the Volume 4 print issue officially launched through immersive beauty experiences, editorial conversations, and exclusive Katseye content.
Over the week-long coverage of the first-ever Allure Beauty Lab, Filipino creatives, industry leaders, experts, and even Filipino voices on the global stage consistently expressed how print remains a valuable cultural fixture: physical magazines today continue to elevate storytelling, and even become a launchpad of Filipino talent and artistry.
The launch was made even more memorable with three original videos with Katseye, bringing fans closer to the group through personal moments, including the members saying “mabuhay,” thanking their Filipinos fans, and being quizzed by Sophia on Filipino words like morena, bebot, and kikay.
As of writing, these three original videos published across Allure Philippines’ social media and digital platforms have gone supernova with millions of views and online engagements across all platforms and continue to spark conversations among fans worlwide.
